Rimech Engineering was founded in Western Australia in 2022, building on the foundations of our original company, Brian Duignan Engineering, established in Ireland in 2015. After several years delivering piping and fabrication projects across Ireland and Europe, we moved our operations back to Australia and launched Rimech Engineering in early 2023. Rimech represents the next chapter of our journey, bringing our international experience to the Australian market.
Our roots in Australia go back further, with founder Brian Duignan working across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland between 2010 and 2014 before returning to Ireland to take on large-scale pharmaceutical projects and senior project management roles. That international experience, combined with time spent across Australia’s key industrial regions, has shaped the knowledge, systems, and delivery standards that now define Rimech.
Today, we specialise in steel pipe and structural fabrication, installation, and mechanical works, as well as HVAC and ducting installations, with a strong presence in the Perth metropolitan area and the Goldfields. We are in an active phase of growth, recognised for our commitment to quality, safety, and consistent project delivery. Rimech is building a legacy not only for our projects and maintenance work, but also for the strength and reliability of our labour delivery.
Rimech Engineering is led by Brian Duignan, a trade-qualified boilermaker with 20 years of hands-on industry experience and over 8 years as a qualified project manager. Brian has delivered major projects for Tier 1 companies across Europe through his work with Brian Duignan Engineering, and now brings this knowledge and a proven “lean” approach to project delivery into the Western Australian construction and resources market. His focus is on combining world-class trade expertise with data-driven management systems to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and with complete accountability.
